Ok guys I bought an 96 Ek hatch has a k20 in it but not wired up the shell had been stolen bunch or wires cut so I bought a 98 civic dx harness (which included headlights harness dash harness and the wiring behind the dash......installed all of it .....have no brake lights no dash lights no hazard lights and no turn signals the car doesn't have headlights or front running lights ...what could be wrong....thanks another thing if I send a direct 12 volts to each individual tail light the work same goes for the blinkers however they don't flash because its not running through the flasher....when I turn the flasher on nothing happens ......also when I jump the brake light switch the brake lights stilk don't cone on ....this is driving me crazy

 

so you replaced every bit of wiring? was the car originally an ex or dx? you could runt he vin to find out what motor it had from the factory. you may have needed everything from a ex not a dx. did you check all the fuses and made sure all the grounds on the harness are clean? i know the headlights have there own ground on each side.

 

Like it was said above, pull out the multi meter and stat checking fuses. and then grounds for each light, and then start following the wireing diagram, tracing each wire, checking for continuity etc.
