b18 in ek sedan... engine leaning issue
I bought this car already swapped. It was converted to manual at the same time the swap was done. It has an innovative swap mount on the driver's side, and a stock manual (i believe) on the tranny side.
I read that eg's need an auto to manual mount... but I read the auto and manual mount both work for ek's.
It looks identical to the picture, same angle and it leans to the same side. Right now I have grade 8 long bolts, and nuts spacing it out. But I hate doing **** like that.

They're different on ek's? I will look into that then. The mount on the drivers side is from innovative... I can't imagine the previous owner paid $100+ for the wrong mount.
still having issues with this. I have every mount on the car and bolted up, but I cannot find any comparison pictures to figure out which one of the mounts/brackets i need to change.
My driver's side mount is indeed innovative and it's the correct one.
I have the rear t bracket and it's bolted in as well. The passenger side tranny bracket has to be correct since it has 3 holes.
I have researched this extensively on here and other forums. Nothing I'm finding is helping my exact situation though.
If all of my mounts bolt up correctly, but the motor still leans... which one would technically work but cause this issue?
Really frustrating trying to fix issues caused by others, since I have no knowledge on what's been done in the past.
Thanks in advance.

I have one that bolts to the innovative mount. Is there more than one that could bolt to the block? It'd have to be an inch or two taller than the one I have to fix the problem.
This is what you mean? Doesn't look like it'll effect anything.

But it's a tad confusing. I need more than just the integra engine mount?
Here's the setup I have (yes I know I only have 2 bolts into the engine)... and you can see the ghetto rig I had to do to make it level...

I honestly don't know. If it has the teg t-bracket... will it cause this issue? I will order the 99-00 si one if so.
Thanks in advance for the help guys.

I got it with the b18 in it. I reused everything that was there when I put the built motor in. So now i'm trying to slowly fix everything that isn't perfect.
was the motor originally taken out of an integra and to you or was it in a civic before get the 99-00 Si t bracket or the 1st gen CRV B20 bracket its thesame thing
When I bought my ek... it had the b18 already in it. I dropped in a different b18 after I blew it up.
I have a t bracket on there that came with the car, I bolted it to the tranny housing and then to the rear mount. So you think it's the wrong one... and the si one (which is the correct one) will fix the issue?

yes sir.
I'm just trying to get a firm idea on what part is the culprit before I blow money on something that might not be the issue. If it has a teg t bracket... will it lean like that?

the problem is your drivers bracket that bolts to the block... it is considerably taller than the Teg one u posted a pic of above which would make it sag on drivers (compare pics closely)... it seems that you have the d16 bracket which should work if you get an original drivers frame mount (top hat style)... OR you can get the b18 engine braket and use the frame mount you have.... Your rear T bracket is fine... if it were an integra one it would cause the motor to lean toward the Radiator support and would most likly cause you to not be able to attach the drivers mount at all...
idk though... I'm thinking this: I had the bracket bolted to the mount, and my engine was leaning down on the driver's side so i spaced it up. You want me to throw a shorter bracket on it, and take my spacers out. To me... that's only going to make the issue more dramatic.
Maybe I'm thinking about it incorrectly.

ok so i went and rummaged through my shop and took some pics for you.,,, I now believe that you (for some odd reason) have a CR-V bracket on your motor right now and Im willing to bet if you go look at the casting # its "p38"....
In your pics above the bracket on the right is a three post, i know you only see two but there is a third bolt that goes behind those to (looks identical to my OEM gsr one)
The bracket i used is a 99-00 si one, for my GSR 97 coupe so i am sure it would work for you too...
Here is a pick of my setup first..... and then a Pic of a CR-V bracket (LEFT(the one i think is on ur motor now)) next to a GSR bracket (RIGHT) i had laying around the shop, to show you how these brackets can cause saging'''''

^^^though the bracket on the right wont work for your setup, i am guessing your "extetions" are the height of the diffrence here...
Here is the OEM Honda part # youll need 11910 p30 000
