Default y7/z6 mini me jumping timing

Everytime I rotate the belt after setting the timing the belt slips and moves the timing off a tooth at a time. Any help? Im also using the z6 cam gear, z6 belt and z6 water pump. Belt is extra tight.

What block are you using? y7 or z6?
If you are using the y7 block, use a y7 water pump and z6 T-belt. This is how I have my setup.

Yeah what water pump were you using?

From another thread:

Z1/Z6 water pump is 19 teeth approx 55mm OD
B2/A6 water pump is 19 teeth approx 54mm OD
Y7/Y8 water pump is 19 teeth approx 56mm OD
