Icon2 Replacing the wiper switch on 1st gen crx...

Long-time forum lurker. I was replacing the wiper switch on my 1987 crx hf (1st gen). I took off the steering wheel, took off the electronics box, and opened up the box to remove the wiper switch. All was going well until a little white cube -- about half the size of a sugar cube -- fell out. This white plastic cube has a metal piece on it that is meant to line up with another metal piece.

But I can't seem to figure out where this little white cube goes. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

figured it out, it was for the turn signal switch. when you turned the switch to turn on the lights, that little white cube moves position. so if a white cube falls out when you're fixing this, now you know. haha.
