Howto: Replace Ignition Switch in a CRX??
try doing a search.......
but I feel sorry for you n00b so I'll give you the basics.
Take off both covers on the column, you should be able to see the ignition cylinder
you'll need to take it out. It is held in by two "sheer" bolts. You will either have to chisel them off or try and cut lines in them to use a flat head screw driver.
The chisel way is easiest. After that its cake to get the switch off. You will need new sheer bolts after to install the cylinder
Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I am not positive on CRX but on a teg the ignition switch is the part where the wires conatct the switch. It is held on by two screws on the left hand side of the tumbler.
To just do the switch you shouldn't have to take off the tumbler, or what APEX CRX said.
Undo thees two screws and there might be a white cap on top of the switch. Now all I needed to do was take off the white cap and clean the contacts as I had a high spot on one of them.
Hope this helps I know how you feel.
