I got an 89 CRX Si, JDM Front end conversion, blah blah blah. now to business. I recently dropped a b16a (Sir1) engine in my car. I was wandering whether to go super or turbo. This car is strictly 1/4 mile car. Can you guys please post some 1/4 times with turbo and mods, and times of super and mods. I wana see what kind of times each setup is running. Thanks

 

Go turbo if its strictly for 1/4 mile racing. The only advantage to supercharges is no boost lag (good for autoX). Im not sure if there is even a supercharger that will fit a b16 crx.

 

that is what i was thinking, like a drag 3. But i wana see some peoples 1/4 times, and what set up they are running.

I've driven both SC and T GSR setups and liked turbo waaay better. A lot more top end with the turbo as opposed to the SC that adds lots of low end torque. If she's built for the 1/4 mile, then turbocharge it....hands down!!

 

If your going for an all out quarter mile car than turbo is the way to go. I have a supercharged b16a ed crx, it is fast enough for me, but for 1/4 mile and drag racing turbo oownz joo!!
