****ej1bmx - EG9 Ferio inspired, function > form, build****
I've been through this before and figured I'd go ahead and start another build thread since everything is stripped and getting redone.
Bought an EJ1 bone stock a while ago.

I spent some time messing around with it and modding it a little bit...

But eventually got tired of it and ended up buying another EJ1 to build and return the black one to stock and daily drive.

I did a build thread and lasted a little while until I decided to part it out
https://honda-tech.com/forums/appearance-build-threads-122/milano-red-ej1-2383454/
After the 2nd ej1, I bought a DC integra to play around with and daily drive...

In the mean time, I've had quite a few cars and 2 motorcycles

Which I wrecked at 70mph and am thankful to be alive... much less be able to repair the bike and get back on it once again!

I planned on moving on and getting out of the car game for a little bit, but couldn't stay away from it for too long.
So I found a sedan I liked in Florida, rust free, but sun faded. B16 swapped with some suspension and EG9 goodies. I take a one way ticket, pick the car up and drive it back to Ohio.
As soon as I get it home, I go to work. I swap all of the suspension out and install D2 coilovers, ASR rear brace w/ 24mm sway bar, and Function form rear LCA's.

After installing my suspension upgrades, it went straight off to paint to fix the 15+ year old faded and pealing paint!
I also found out that two of the RPF1's were damaged, so I found another set in black and snatched them up. I sent the car off for paint and swapped the exhaust to an Apexi WS2.
My painter was running late and I got the car assembled the morning that I left for Import Alliance 2010

I got home, but was never fully happy with the car. I got laid off from my job and money became tight. I was never fully happy with the car and figured I'd finally dig into a wiring issues
I ended up doing a wiring tuck and tying up a bunch of issues that I had to deal with.... Seriously sucked! So now the bay has been completely wire tucked. ABS has been removed (properly). SRS system has been removed. AC has been removed.... And everything else functions how it should!

In the mean time, I've had all of the suspension bushings swapped out with Hardrace bushings
I installed stainless brake lines as well as new pads and rotors at the same time. I went ahead and replaced the ball joints, tie rod ends, axles, end links, and sway bar bushings... but my indecisiveness has sent me in another direction.
So the car is ripped apart again...
Planned on doing a 4x114.3 swap with Dunlop CPR's that I picked up from a friend...

But I changed my mind and posted them up for sale and plan on going 5x114.3
http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2997447
So, as the car sits.... Mostly in my room (shot was taken about a week ago and there is much, much more of it on there now)

So I'll start the newest progress as this... Decided I'd take the day listening to the Bengals lose to the Steelers
and go ahead and take out a little weight.
before...

after....

I have a lot planned over the winter, so I'll just leave it at that for now

Feel free to comment, support, or talk **** about my build! Cheers

This car makes me want to buy an eg fourdoor to build instead of daily drive and beat on, lol saw it in the for sale thread and loved it. lets trade shells.
Updates:
So my friend finally got the rest of the parts I needed for my roof rack shipped to me!

No hard parking with it though....
Last night, I picked up a NRG quick release and NRG hub along with a wood grain Nardi wheel (up for grabs if any of you guys want it). It's minty, just not my style but my friend wanted to sell it all as a package deal, so I went ahead and bought it with the intentions of selling.

Today, I went to leave for the junk yard and realized I had a box on the porch.... My flush mount bolts/washers came in!

Fastenal
Went to the junk yard and pulled the lower tie bar off of a DC Integra... Talk about a pain in the ***!!!!! Bolts were rusty and hard to break lose and just overall unpleasant to reach when they have the cars up so high in the air. Ended up getting COVERED in grease and oil from being under it and somebody else ripping the axle apart. But I ended up getting it
Couldnt find a few of the other parts I needed, but I ended up getting a stock horn assembly that I'll be wiring back up too

I also worked on a little of the seam sealer stuff... I have all of the old stuff grinded off around the firewall near where the hood hinges/windshield cowl/windshield/fender all meet where I had started having a water leak. I have new stuff waiting to go on, just waiting to paint my hood hinges before I do

That's all my progress now. I'll link my FS thread up with my steering wheels (nardi and my old personal wheel) as well as the hub that was in my car that will now be replaced with the short hub/quick release NRG combo

Best of luck with the rest of the build buddy, looks like you know what your doing with thoes previous projects, I liked that red ej coupe a lot!
Oh, and most people with USDM ITR 5 lug swaps want to sell the wheels with it, and I have no desire to rock a set on this car
CTR/USDM ITR are the same and bolts up the same.... It's pretty hard to find USDM ITR 5 lug where I live. The local shop has probably 15-20 CTR 5 lug conversions

Thanks guys... I'll be posting some updates tomorrow with some stuff I got today and some stuff that is on it's way from California...
So, for the updates I have today. Since I removed the AC when I did my engine bay tuck before, but I've still been rocking the condenser under the dash. I was looking for a delete box and my buddy came across one. So, I picked that up last night so now I can finally remove the bulky unit from under the dash and install the much lighter delete box.

I also hit up a local company and picked up some fabric to redo my door panel inserts to match my SRD Recaros....

That fabric will also go very, very well with the rear seats that I just sent the money out for
They're coming from California, so hopefully I'll have them this time next week!
Parts are piling up....
