There is a resistor in the rotor arm. Aftermarket rotors sometimes have resistors that fail, causing an open. This open then wrecks the coil.

Using a multimeter, check for continuity between the metal contact in the base of the rotor and the rotor tip. If none, replace the rotor. Now try and start the engine.

If there IS continuity, then you have most likely cooked your coil by running it with the wire unplugged. Or the "new" coil is defective.

But before you replace the coil again, do you have a tachometer in the dashboard?

is spark getting thru the wires? You say its not getting to the plugs but have you grounded out the wires to see the spark jump? if u replaced everything and getting spark thru the wires, i'd check into the fuel personally. if the rotor and cap isnt corroded badly and the dizzy and coil r new i dont see you not getting spark unless you have a lose ground or some weird occurance like that.

Aftermarket coil and ICM replacement?

Does battery voltage reach the coil and ICM inside the distributor?

CEL codes?
