obd1 harness in a p30 ecu b18b1 b16a2 head. was throwing codes fixed them all except the vtec solenoid. what could it be please help me im at my last straw

 

it will turn over but no fire or fuel pump

When you turn the key to ON(II), does the CEL remain on steady?

Is the G110 ground on the thermostat housing clean and tight?

 

yes the ground is on good and the cel light stays on

Check whether fuse 31 or 24 is blown.

ok i just checked big fuses and the little ones and i couldnt find a 31 or 24. they were all good.... im a noob with hondas and i greatly appreciate any help you can give me. what else could i check

 

The FAQs sticky has diagrams for the hood and dash fuse boxes (see electrical section). Check 15A hood fuse 31 and 15A dash fuse 24.

 

there is a main relay up under the dash left side above hood release put your hand on dash close door for quiet turn key on and listen for 3 clicks if you only here 1 or 2 your relay is bad it has to be changed its about 70 dollars or you could open it and solder it but 70. dollars is worth it. try this site http://techauto.tripod.com/mainrelay.htm. this relay stops the fuel pump from staying on. good luck
