stripped bolt hole need help..

big bolt in transmission has stripped on me.whats the best fix for this, i want to do it proper, thanks in advance.

What bolt exactly? A mount hole?

You can try a helicoil, or timesert.

Get a new bolt from the junkyard?? its not held by a welded nut right

Not if it goes into the case.

Does it have a stud, that you thread the nut onto, or the type you put a bolt into?

its the hole that is stripped i have a new oem bolt. its in the transmission case.

You are gonna have to rethread the hole.
