No electrical power help

Default No electrical power help

Replaced alternator and I have 0 power no lights. Nothing I'm working on it ATM if u got something and I took off the positive cable when I was working not the negative ....

No but it was good like 2 hours ago before I did alternator I'll check now though

I hooked the battery charger up it doesn't look to be full charged I think I should start tere I guess but I figured I'd still get the lights in the dash to come on since it did when it die over night hmmm

Oh and if it is dead wouldnt the starter on the battery charger still start me ?

Did you check the grounds? You don't seem to be doing well with your car AT ALL.

check the battery ground can you also stop posting every 2 MINUTES!!!! just edit your original damn post and go from there

tell me about it lol it ran perfectly fine till i ****ed up the valve cover all this for painting the valve cover lol and no the ground cable is good

you must of touched something else than the valvecover i had thesame thing happen to my car the ground for some reason F-d up and i had to sand part of the paint off and now it works and it just did it randomly

nothing it was random i parked the car came out 2 hours later thought my battery died my friend jumped it for 30 minutes nothing at all came on i pushed down on the battery ground and the car started working inside so i removed my fusebox sanded down a little area and put my ground under the fusebox screwholes the battery ground would be a perfect explenation why nothing is working also the battery fuse

ill re check the ground 2 maro and the battery fuse looked good u can tell if its bad just by looking at it correct since it has a see through top?

Please create more descriptive thread titles. "No power" could mean a lot of different things. You meant no electrical power. Title edited.

Test the 80A hood fuse.

And buy an inexpensive multimeter.

soundsl ike a grounding issue.
Multimeters are only a few $ at harbor freight, and they arent even expensive at major retailers anymore
