Default CLUTCH F*@#$d?

my clutch went out on the street..i just got off the freeway and i was about half a block down and i put my car in neutral and it wouldnt go into any other gear after!?!? i pulled over and turned off the car and tried shifting...it went in without a problem..so i put the car in first and turned it on...and the clutch was all the way down and it felt as if it wouldnt hold anymore... i heard a funny noise coming from the engine bay but only when it was in a gear... when i put it in first and started the car it wouldnt go back into neutral so i just turned it off and got the car towed home... my friend came in his crx and said it was my clutch fluid but when i popped the hood i didnt see a clutch fluid resrvoir!?!? is my clutch fvk'd? and how much am i looking at to have a new one installed at a shop..and no im not gonna try to install it myself!!!!!! THANKZ TO EVERYONE FOR READING!!!!! im under alotta stress cuz i have no comuter to werk and school....
oh yeah this is for a 94 LS

well the fluid is right under the hood, but my clutch is going and i got quoted from a few people, this garage wants 700 fro everyhting parts and install on a stock clutch. They said they wouldnt do an isntall for an aftermarket one due to liability. I went to honda and they wanted 1150 for everyhitng. thats quite pricey. so im just buying one online and having a friend put it in for me for pretty cheap.

Do you see clutch fluid underneath your clutch pedal?

You would be looking at the small reservoir...it should be filled with fluid with a small plastic stopper floating on top.

the clutch fluid reservoir is the small one on the back right....
u can see where it goes into the firewall... and if u look under the dash
you can see where the clutch connects to...

check the fluid...

I doubt you got a clutch master stage 4 for $450 including installation. anyways, I just put in a clutch master stage 3. the clutch alone was $522.00 and I also had a clutch master lightened flywheel, but installed a new excedy flywheel. the total came out to 1100. But thats because I chose not to resurface my flywheel and get a new one. Your looking to spend anywhere from 600-900 installed w/o a new flywheel and just using your current one.

You broke a spring on the clutch disc.

EXACT same thing happened to me. I drove home in 2nd gear, ~5miles...ebrake as brakes...left foot constantly holding the clutch down, right foot on gas, 60mph.

gf loved that one.

200 is a very fair price for clutch labor.
