Del Sol Oil Pan Switch
Disclaimer: I do not know a lot about cars, so go easy on me.
Recently my oil pan was punctured, don't know how, or even by whom, but it happened. I just switched it out last night with a friend of mine.
I took it for a run down the store and right off the bat I noticed a few things:
- The engine roared a lot deeper.
- The gas pedal was more sensitive
- The car picks up speed a lot faster.
I don't know whether or not this is a good or a bad thing, as it's just an oil pan swap. Does swapping out the oil pan affect the performance of the car in any way?

That depends was an OEM replacement? Did you change the pickup / feed? Either way you shouldnt see a gain in performance to the point where you go from a pinto to a vette. The car will run better though.
