Default Very simple exhaust question PLEASE

Hey guys i have a 92 integra gsr. I got it as a shell and im picking up the b20b motor tomorrow. Well i need an exhaust system. From the header to the muffler. They sell the full sets online. But what i need to know is online says the systems are different for the ls and gsr models? Are they different? and if so which model do i need since i have an b20 into a gsr shell. THANKS for all the help guys!

Well, the 92gsr should have the same exhaust setup as an LS/b20, all b series headers line up to eachother. Only the JDM ITR header and the 94-99 GSR header are different.

I think if you got yourself an ls/b20 header, that would connect to your cat and the rest of your exhaust. If you don't have ANY exhaust, just buy a full setup and it will fit.

Since your 92gsr WAS OBDI, Id get a 92-95 LS/b20 setup since it is also OBD1 and will have an o2 sensor at the collector right before the cat.

Yes i need a full exhaust. from the header to the muffler. Does it matter if i buy one for a gsr or ls? the motor is a b20b out of a 99 crv. If i buy one for a ls will it fit the whole car?

Yes it will. Are u going aftermarket/performance or just stock?

U can rip out a header-tailpipe exhaust at a wrecker for cheap.

Edit: can't edit on my phone, but!!!!

Any ls/b20 header will fit BUT Cat-tailpipe u need one out of a da. The 3rd gen exhaust setup exits on the passenger side, as opposed to the driver side on the 2nd gen..... So

Header - any (ls/b20/type r. not 94-99 gsr)

Cat-tailpipe - any from a DA should work, avoid 4 drs....

^ anyone else confirm? I think that's right

They will both fit, although the first one doesn't come with a catalytic converter.

The second one comes with everything for 150$. Don't expect quality though, it will most likely sound and fit like ****, I doubt it will bolt up perfectly. Not to mention a catalytic converter (new) will cost 3 times the price of the full 'stainless' system.

It will most likely fail if you hit it over a speed bump, but in terms of cheap and functional, it should work.

Remember, you get what you pay for! I would rather spend 150$ at a junkyard ripping the entire exhaust off of an old integra to be perfectly honest.
