So i have a nbp tl type s and the front end is starting to irritate me. Its damaged from years of rock chips and looks bad, the same thing happened to the side view mirrors. Im wondering whats the most economical way of fixing it? I was thinking of using the duplicolor perfect match rattle can paint. Any suggestions?? i will post pics later if needed

 

The perfect match rattle can paint is ok for small applications (such as mirrors). But seeing as you aren't happy with rock chips, you wouldn't be happy rattle canning your entire bumper. In order to rattle can correctly, you will have to wet sand the aerosol clear coat and buff it back out. The problem is, the rattle can paint is very thin and easy to mess up.

Your best bet is to take the front bumper off and sand it smooth, using body glaze on the small nicks that don't sand out, then take it to a bodyshop and have them prime and paint it for $120.
