Default White smoke from engine after Seafoam treatment

I just used 1/3 can of Seafoam through the PVC valve of my 91 accord (320k miles), and after (or while) I did it, white smoke was coming from the engine bay. It seemed at first like it was coming from the valve cover but then I saw that it was coming from below the VC... It did fix my idle problem (thank God) and it also made my car run better, but i'm kind of surprised / worried about this smoke from the engine.

But what could this be? Is it a bad problem? I read on the internet that it could have been a vacuum leak.

Thanks.

Misha

Really? I thought it was only supposed to come out of the exhaust pipe, not the engine itself.

I really don't think I did because of the powerful suction of the PVC prevented it. I was using a measuring cup to do it.

It comes out the exhaust, if theres a leak it comes out there too. Porbably a cracked exhaust manifold.

Or worn out rings where it goes past the rings and down into the crankcase and of course you'll see it come out some other places such as valve cover, etc.

One of the neat, and sometimes unexpected, outcomes of seafoaming a vehicle is any exhaust leaks, or blow by, will show up as white smoke.
Add the recommended amounts to the fuel and oil, this may help a sticking ring, but if a ring or cylinder is bad, or the valve guide is sloppy, the white smoke will find the path of least resistance, be it a bad ring/cylinder, valve guide, or gasket.
