I believe all b-series motors are interchangable. Bolts right in, just swap ecu's and wiring harness' and that's that, call it a day.

He is asking if you can swap a b16 into and LS integra.
To the OP, who gives a damn if it's "JDM" or USDM, personally I could give two ***** if it was in Japanese hondas, so find yourself any old b16 and swap it, don't waste your time or money trying to get a "JDM" one.

I think the op was 'thinking' about it, and wants to hear some opinions:
#1, please don't swap a b16 into an integra, that is serious downgrading. A beat up old b16 gets maybe 140-150 hp at who knows what RPM, where as an LS motor gets 140 hp and way more torque at low-mid rpm. You won't be feeling NEARLY the same amount of power as your LS motor unless you are at 6k all day.
#2, if you blew up your LS and have a friend with a jdm b16 for 200$, yeah, sure, why not. All you need is an ECU and a subharness (not an entire harness, you only need to wire 3 pins in the ecu)
#3, don't consider a b16 motor an 'upgrade', it really isn't. You'd be better off taking the head off and sticking it on your ls motor.
If you want more power? Get some crower 402s, they fit into your LS head without modding the valve train (same lift, longer duration), and you will love your new LS motor

It all depends on what his goal with the car/engine are. The B16 has the greatest bore/stroke ratio on the B engines, whereas the LS/VTEC B18 has the worst in terms of racing.

If built right an ls-vtec wont give you problems. Granted the r/s isnt ideal but that doesnt make it a bad motor for racing all in itself. Its all personal preference i would guess because i love my ls-vtec. But just going off of how he was talking he is looking for a quick power adding swap. I guess i should have asked.
I'm getting a super fresh complete swap with roughly 20k on it, its has everything i need and the ls shell im getting is a 1999 with absolutely no rust and 2 small dent, i'll post pics soon. after the swap is done im going to build the head and run all motor.
That's almost like asking what's the best cereal. It's all preference, and the answers will almost be all different.
Sounds to me like you just need to get on GOOGLE or use the SEARCH option here on HT, stop asking these ridiculous questions that only take a minute of research.
