d15b block and z6 head what to use?
okay so tomorrow i am purchasing a new motor since my d15 finally died. well its a d15b block with a z6 head on it. ive done research on this and theres a few different answers to the question. i read the d15z1 timing belt from the vx is the correct one to use. but i also read that the z6 will fit. and also need help on which headgasket to use?
i know this question has been posted on here and ive read em theres always 2 different answers.

I'm running a mini me with :
d15b1 block
d16z6 head
p28 ecu
d16z6 timing belt
d16z6 headgasket
adj. cam gear
d16y8 cam
d16y8 tranny
obd1 harness
it usually doesn't matter what headgasket you run, they're both the same. only difference is thickness. i believe the y8 H.G. crushes to a thinner spec(bumps up compression ratio), which is why i chose the z6 H.G.(both block decked and head milled). Def. get the head resurfaced so it has something flat to sit on.

that should have everything you need right in there
