EK hatch makes noise from the back wheels on turns
Ok, so i have a 1997 civic hatchback. I had GSR wheels but i traded it for some GT3s. When i put on the GT3s i noticed that every time i turn, there is a knocking noise on the back wheels. When i turn left i hear the knocking on the left wheel. When i turn right, i hear the same noise on the right. I don't know if it's the wheel or maybe the way i put it? lug nuts? all i know is that the noise wasn't there before. The wheels look like they're in perfect condition. Has someone else had the same problem? please help. thanks :[
take the wheels off and see if the hub nut is loose, or if the bearing is going back. could also be the drum brakes. could also be bad bushings.
Ok guys, i think i know the problem. These rota GT3s seem to be a little wider than my 6.5 wide GSR wheels i had. The inner lip of the wheel is hitting a part of the lower control arm. anything i can do besides get a new wheel? thanks

You can bring it to an alignment shop and get it up on the rack, everything else has been stated: bearings, rubbing and you should also check for play in front tires as well
It should have nothing to do with the wheels. I had 18's on my hatch and I know they was atleast 7.5 inches wide and I never had that problem. My 91 had bad wheels bearings and that's what it did. It got to a point where it was better when u turned then went straight
Has anyone suggested he check the rear sway bar end links yet? I've seen that one a million times... It could be purely coincidence that they are just now going with the new wheel/tire... OR it could make complete sense if the new wheels/tires are creating more grip and in turn more body flex/roll that the sway bars are trying to correct......
