95 civic d16z6 squeaking noise when starting out
hey ht i got a 95 d16z6 turbo im running a stage 3 clutch with a findanza 7lb flywheel. clutch and flywheel have about 15000 miles on them. when i start out in first gear or reverse (if im parking)...sometimes especially when its cold i hear a squeaking that is coming from the car...sounds like im spinning wheels very lightly but im not. i know how to drive stick ive been driving stick since i was 15 but the car drives fine clutch its slipping and i dont smell anything. is there something specific that could be causing this?
Sound coming from where exactly? At least a general vicinity? If it's in the engine bay then open the hood one morning and start the car.
now that u mention it the noise is coming right around where my belt is. i guess it might be time for a new belt. it only does the noise is im starting to drive from a stop as i'm letting the clutch out and hitting the gas. the car sat for a while before i bought it 6 months ago so it might be a good idea to replace the belt
