Im putting a b16 into my 2000 ex using a AEBS intake manifold. So i bought an ITR throttle cable and for some reason it just doesnt want to fit into the firewall. I have never had this problem before but are they different or something?

 

i have itr throttle cable in my 99 hatch with gsr and fit just fine.

did you buy an ITR throttle cable "bracket" to match...the one that bolts to the intake manifold?

 

I am using a 99 LS throttle cable on my 98 civic LS Vtec and it went on like stock. Some aftermarket intake manifold may need a different cable bracket as well, I have ran into that in the past.

 

^^ As a general rule, you run the same bracket as cable needed

 

r u going thru the cruise control hole?

 

It has nothing to do with the bracket just that it wont clip into the hole. And ya its the right hole lol
