I got a 95 dx coupe, non v-tech, was wondering how I tell if mine has ABS or not. Im buying new CV joints.

Well my friends 95 EX doesn't have ABS(her brakes locked up in an accident) I also have a 95 DX but have never been in a situation where my brakes would lock up. But yeah, I'm like 99% our cars don't have ABS, and the DX is the lowest end model, we don't have anything

 

no your car doesnt have abs civics didnt come with abs until the 99-00 honda civic si.

you are wrong.

99-00 si didnt have ABS. The 92-95 civic ex coupe had an optional abs. i'll take a picture of my abs unit and show you.

 

doesn't matter. all 92-00 civic axels are the same. the only difference is abs axles have the rings on them, but they can be used on non abs cars

Why dont you go out to the boonies, and lock, or try to lock them up at like 25-30? Being a dx though, I doubt it, my 96 dx coupe doesnt even have power steering. (Not that I want it.)

 

its a dx, no abs there

 

In Canada they do.
