Icon3 D16Y8 bogging down

I have a 2000 civic ex D16y8. It bogs down when the engine gets warm and i'm in gear. There is no power gain what so ever, I basically just coast to a stop. If you push in the clutch the motor will rev fine. There is a CEL but it's just because of the test pipe. Simulator is on the way. I just changed the plugs wires cap and rotor about a month ago. Any ideas???? Thanks

Primary or Secondary o2? I assume secondary, can you get a test pipe with a bung for an o2?

How would you know whether a new code is thrown if the CEL is on steady all the time?

I already have a test pipe in and have the spark plug non fouler trick installed but it doesn't work. I have a simulator on order and am just waiting on it to get here. My car has been running in limp mode for about a year now and has just started acting up. Can it really be the o2. It has ran fine without a simulator for a year now?????

Secondary just makes sure the cat is working properly, primary (in front of cat) is this one that does most of the work the o2 does. So in short answer, if it is the o2 then the primary is the one you'll need.

The only code it's throwing is for the o2. I don't know why it would act all of the sudden after a year of running fine in test mode. Could it be anything else?

Even though it's had that code for over a year now anyway.

When did you last check for codes? What specific codes are thrown?

I had a buddy with a scanner check it and he said it was for the o2. That was a week ago. It started acting up about 3 weeks ago.

What you are saying is that you don't really know what CEL codes are currently thrown. Jump the service connector to pull the codes, and then post them.

Also check the mechanical timing.

Running in Limp Mode for that long can't be good for the motor
oO
Could it have possibly also fouled up the primary O2 since limp mode retards the ignition timing?
(or are my facts all fracked up here? ^^; )
