Default OBD1 to OBD2A swap ????

I have a 97 civic hatch was auto swapped to 5 spd. Engine is a Z6 with a P28 ecu. There is no engine light but the idle is up n down. I also have a 1998 Y8 intake manifold. Theres no FITV. So am I gonna have to get the ecu flashed to fix that? Any ideas would be great thanx.

when the FITV is blocked off u will not have any warm start it should only rev to 1000rpms the whole time even when warm. it sucks not having it in cold climates but ive ran mine this way for some time now with no problems. no u do not need a reflash it will not fix this at all. if its bouncing u may wanna look into how they plugged the FITV and make sure they did the 3wire to 2 wire IACV correctly. look up the 3 wire to 2 wire IACV conversion and double check. if it constantly bounces when cold and warm u may have a vacuum leak.

pop the intake tube off.

While runing, cover the TB, if it stays running you have a vacum leak. Any hissing sounds?

Well its a 98 Y8 intake. they didnt have FITV its controled by the computer. I have the wiring right cause if not I would be getting an engine light right? I take my intake arm off n stick my finger in the hole, no change. This has really got alot of poeple frustrated lol.

When I had a TB with a FITV it did the same. Im still gonna try and see if theres an intake or vacuum leak. I just wanna check everything.

If it stumbles, and dies, thats a good thing. That means you have no vacume leak.

A leak can cuase what you described.

Ok found out that its something to do with the intake gasket. So which gasket should I use the 98 EX or 95 Si del sol? I put the 95 del sol one on the first time so I guess Im gonna try the 98 EX. The funny thing is the 95 gasket is $12.99 the EX is 6.99. WTF? I hope a good up date here soon
