Turboing a 97 Dx Hatchback y7 questions
I have had 2 buddies that have turboed there y7 hatches and they had to block off the iacv so it would idle right. Anyone know anything else you could do to fix this problem? And he also said that he didnt use a missing link.

you dont need a missing link if you stay at or under 11PSI.
If you keep the stock ecu it shouldnt have a problem with the IACV..It starts to give problems if you change the ECU that requires a 2 wire IACV...Y7 IACV is a 3 wire

im going to use a vafc, there using a p28 obd1 with a harness thats probally why the iacv makes it not idle. cause its ment for a 2 wire not 3

Yeah that is the problem.. What Intake manifold is he using? He will have to convert from a 3 wire to a 2 wire..Its not hard at all..
Go to-->Turbod16.com/Forum/FAQ/ Civic Integra ECU thread and you should find how to do the conversion and what pinouts to modify... Look for the P28 Ecu that he's using and then follow the directions...
I had a Y7 with a Z6 intake mani and we had to do this conversion for the iddle to be right.
