So i put a ls in my del sol and i saw the motor run right before i put it in my car it was in my good buddys car. the timing is dead on and has never been messed with.. i couldnt figure out why my fuel pump wouldnt prime but i figured out it was the thermostat ground so i fixed that now my check engine comes on goes off like it should but it just keeps cranking.. i just put a new cap rotor and wires on it... i accidentily got water down the plug holes but i got that all out with a vacuum and rags but could that of ****ed the plugs up and cause it not to start i dont have a deep enough 5/8ths at the moment to pull them to see if i am getting spark but im just wondering if any one else has some input on what it could be.

 

Compression test the cylinders.

 

I don't think its that though bc I just drove the car with this motor before I pulled it and it ran strong like real strong no missing or nothing and only had 68,000 miles and the oil looked amazing

 

If your getting fuel,have compression, then spark is the only thing left i can think of. change your spark plugs and check the dizzy(make sure everythings plugged/tightened inside).
