crap...car's running like crap
Ok..this started after i did an oil change (damn it). At first, I'm having trouble starting up the car after oil change (cranks, but won't start). then somehow i got it to run....and when i was on my way to e-town...the damn car was runnnig sluggish when i gas hard. I thought it was just a bad tank of gas..so whatever, it went away. Not until today...when I was driving...the damn thing started again. And it's getting worse where if I gas a little hard...the car goes to 0 rpm (like shutting down) and only way for me to move is gas slowly. Could it be the alternator? fuel pump? If you guys think it's alternator..where can I get 1st gen b16 alternator? or can I use usdm b16 alternator? thanks in advance.

i doubt its the main relay. u should be getting codes. i had this problem when my vaccum lines were run all shitty and my TPS was on wrong. when i gassed it hard the car woulc actually die, and if i was easy on it it would drive.

I put my money on the fuel pump,i say its going south on you only other thing i think it could be,is the Ignitor inside the distributor.

this is what i'm thinking too. however, GEOFF just told me that it happened to his car and is most likely the ignitor. I got a spare one laying around and i'm gonna put it on and hopefully that solve the problem
