Default Is this gonna be a problem?

im missing this connector on the used motor i bought from somebody, is this gonna be a problem? could it be the reason why the motor is not turning all the way? what is it for anyways?

Its a crank sensor wire, just ignore it if you are dropping the motor into an obd1 car

You can solder the wires or get the plug from the old engine

You can only ignore it if you're running an OBD1 distributor; otherwise, you'll need to solder it and get it plugged in if you're staying OBD2 or engine will not run.

damn i think im running a OBD2, how would i know its a OBD2

If that's your car on your avatar and the wiring and ecu are stock, you're OBD2.

96+ Preludes are OBD2 unless they've been converted.

actually im sure the car is OBD2 cuz when i pulled the old motor out i remember seeing that crank sensor. ****.. i gotta buy one now
