pretty sure it's the vtec pressure switch, you will need to replace yours

 

I believe it's the 2P connector for the VTEC oil pressure switch.

 

It's all of the above. And it's broken.

 

Pressure switch: 37250-PR3-003 $50
O-ring 13x1.5: 91319-PR3-003 $1.75

You could always try to find a used switch, but they are usually sold with the whole solenoid.

You could also cheat and wire your pressure switch to your VTEC solenoid as well, but you won't pass inspection with that broken sensor. It will however allow the engine to run like normal and keep the check engine light off. This is what we do for JDM motors (no pressure switch) running off US ECUs.

 

pretty sure you have a check engine light for that. once you replace the vtec pressure switch, reset the ecu

Does the CEL work?

 

The CEL for vtec will only come on if you are running a VTEC enabled ecu and you surpass the rpm of engagement.

 

Yeah your right, my whole car shut off when revving it. and the check engine light went on.

 

well thats easy to replace. just replace the switch that can be taken off from any vtec solonoid i believe.

its quite easy i believe there are two switches like that on the engine. one is vtec and i cant remeber off the top of my head what the other one is for but theyre the same and interchangeable to my knowledge
