Default Question about R LSD

Ok there is a guy on here(MouhadIb) selling a JDM R limited slip with the ring gear on it. Will this fit in my b16(00si) tranny and what will the final drive be, 4.4 or 4.785? Thanks

I believe you'll need a new countershaft and 1st gear (needle bearings too) as well.

Ratio will be 4.785:1

depends if its a 98plus ring gear or not. 98 plus = 4.78 but if not then its just a 4.4, either way, u can still use ur ring gear on the lsd and it will drop in. make sure u check the clearances on the bearings/shims when installing tho

It's a 98 tranny, so it has the 4.785 right?
