Default B16 idles horrible

I just did a swap and the car turned on 5 months later.
It would start up perfect and isles perfect then it would just drop to like 200rpm and eventually shut off.
Could it be the old gas? Or anything else? It had maybe not even a gallon of gas so I added a gallon of fresh gas. It got little better but still not drivable

Thanks in advance

I would drain the gas, put in fresh gas, flush the lines, [remove gas line from filter] allow fuel to flush out of line, replace filter and try again. 94

I just put in new gas after I drained new spark plugs. Still the same. Sometimes I have to push the gas hard for it to even rev

Mine does the same thing but if I hold the gas for awhile it gets better till its warm then it kinda idles high... People keep saying idle air or fast idle... havent had time to check them... Maybe check those?

when i first start the car its perfect but maybe lets say like 1 minute later rpm drops to like 200 rpm. i just tried driving the car and basically if i let the gas go it would almost die. and when i try to press the gas its not really doing anything so i have to press the gas pedal past halfway for it to rev back up

hmm could be fuel is flooding, I know i had an issue with #1 cylinder and it did that on occasion. It was comp. rings... went bad. Is your lil screw that sets idle screwed all the way in? could be your problem as well...

Dump fuel, flush fuel lines, replace fuel filter.

Even if the above is not your problem, it can't hurt and if for no other reason then to elliminate them as the possible problem. 94
