Default short shifter

I am thinking about getting a Nuespeed short shifter adapter for my 2000 lude. Anyone had any experience with them? Does anyone recommend DC over Nuespeed?

Thanks everyone

my experience with DC is you pay for the name more than performance. neuspeed has some really good quality products out there. thats the way i would go. as a matter of fact, thats what im getting. i just wish they had more support for the hondas.

I recently installed the DC sports short shifter adapter.. works great, and was easy as hell to install.. no complaints here.

how bout the cheap *** ones on ebay? It's just a short shifter right? same design, but i'm thinkin, maybe the metal it's made out of will break or somethin. anybody have any experiences with these? I'd rather pay 30 bucks than pay 80.

i paid 80$ for my nuespeed short shifter. Its pretty good. I was going to get DC for $70 but my friend who owns an import shop told me that they break. But yah u could spend 30$ and just get a cheap one. If it breaks in a few years just get another one.

you could buy the DC one or w/e brand you'd like, or you could just save yourself a couple bucks and do what I did, make one.

I have heard that there is a correlation between shortshifters and premature synchronzer wear, anyone else heard this... My friend had a SS on his 97 accord and a month after he installed it hs sychronizers went bad...

please educate me. Banging gears causes the synchros to go? I wouldn't think it would harm them that much if you have the clutch all the way in.
