Crome GOLD Map: Editing High Cam RPM to Match p72
Hey everyone...
I am currently trying different tuning software on my turbo GSR and am having some problems with these new crome gold maps... I was using crome free for a bit but decided to get a pro license and try the gold map. Right now I am trying to match the RPM ranges for high and low cam to the p72 ones but it wont let me adjust the High cam RPM. When I set the First coloum to 0 and the 2nd to 3521 it resets to 3533 and same with the rest of the high cam range. They just reset back to what they were. Am I missing something? I just wanna start off with a p72 timing and fuel map but on a crome gold bin.
Thanks

The starting Column for RPM in high cam is 4007 and the p72 map is 0 then 3521.... Can I even do this? lol :S
Thanks
Thanks
Yeah but when I edit them they dont stay edited. They go back into the radio that starts at 4007. My VTEC kicks at 4200 so it doesnt matter but its not letting me edit them.. They just auto adjust back to some other range :S

I believe the Crome Gold tables are based on the P30 rom, the p72 rom has a different number of high cam rows. Now from what I understand you are creating a new Gold rom and are wanting to import the timing and fuel from a stock gsr map into it correct?
You don't need to match the scales with your P72, just export P72 maps from the stock ROM and import them into your CromeAu file, it'll automatically interpolate the values for you.
When I tune CromeAu I usually rebuild tables with even distribution or incrementally (depending on boost or NA, altitude, etc.) so the tables have less holes.
It's also a good idea to find out what your atmospheric pressure is so you can apply that value to your map and into your general settings so your tune is more accurate without the barometer.
