My check engine light came on, then i noticed that when i pushed the gas pedal and it didnt do anything besides act like it wanted to bog and stall. the ecu blinked 4 times (crank position sensor). then i advanced the timing just a little and got it home. but i noticed a grinding noise coming from the distributor. i know that the issue, but i like opinions and someone else sayin, yep thats it.

 

honestly kinda sounds like a bearing went bad inside. or some how or another the sensor fell to pieces...highly unlikely though
