The car died on the highway and I managed to get it off to the side of the road.
No hard driving or anything.
Checked the oil and it's good. A bit overfilled though.
There was spark and I can smell fuel when cranking it.
It doesn't sound right when cranking it though.
Anybody have any ideas?

don't know why it died but in the video it sounds like the starter motor is not engaging the flywheel. Can you confirm if the motor is being turned over?

 

Sounds like something in the clutch/flywheel/starter area

 

I think I figured out the problems.
Auto tensioner failed.
Pulled the valve cover off and the belt seems loose.

 

Crud, Hopefully it's ok.

I lost my crank pulley bolt this summer, and my woodruff key walked out enough to stop the crank pulley from spinning. Put in a new bolt, and torqued it down right, and all was good. I had been cruising at about 3k, on my way to the track for the day, thank goodness it didn't happen at 7800 RPM!
