Stock ones should work fine... I am curious why in the world do you even need them? Do you not realize the body drops down in the sleeve? That's the whole purpose of full coil-overs... to stay away from the ghetto tricks and do it right.

umm, the f&f type 1s are full coilovers. I judt don't want to move the coils any lower than the specific limit. .If i put the extended top hats it will allow a lower drop without any movement of the coils and blowing the struts.,this is from what i researching. still cant get an exact answer on what type of top hats they are using for an ef.

Top hats work by allowing the shock body and bumpstop to enter inside the top hat itself, this allows the bumstop to do its thing and prevent the piston from bottoming out internally.

Aftermarket full coilover bodies won't fit inside an extended top hat. This negates the benefit of the top hat. You might as well just remove the bumpstop entirely.

I should have added I have those specific coil-overs on two of my vehicles. Personally they suck for a daily driver. I have blown at least one shock a year and I am not some kid beating my crap up and trying to it every pot hole I can find. Replacements are $75-$100 depending on what vehicle it's for.
