Raise your car to a drive-able height.

...true..i take it you dont really raise the hood at any car events!! May have solved your problem, but you CUT the shock towers instead of alternate solutions, but i guess you can call that an ALTERNATE solution. I DNT LIKE...just my opinion.

Cuttting the shock tower greatly reduces strength in that part of the car. Hope it does't break anything later on.

do like the guy did. cut a hole in that area.... but it only has to be 1-2 inch in diameter. not a 6 by 6 inch square.

THANK YOU !! I dont think ive seen anyone do that before on their car just to reduce knocking from that area. That should tell you that theres got to be another way or better products out there that can prevent this...i.e..THE CUTTING OF THE TOWERS..IMMENSLY!!

actually it was pretty popular to do that with uper control arm camber kits .. also if you cant tell it was cut from the factory and is only sealed with like a liquid glue or something.

Mine have bad clearance, to solve i grinded both the control arm and inside the wheel well to provide better clearance. This has helped but not 100%

I think I would be more scared to grind the upper control arm then cut a hole

I might do that as well..cutting just doesnt sit well with me. Has anyone one seen or heard of such a thing seriously affecting driveability or anything of that nature after cutting?
