Hello All, ive been lurking around on the forum for sometime now and never really created any threads yet. My very first car was a 94 gsr which over did mod and pretty much riced it out. but that was about 6 years ago. now im looking to buy the integra back and do it very tastefully keeping it clean and storing it for my son as a collector. hopefully i keep with the plan.

I'll add to this once i lock in on my next project.

GSR ≠ Type-R

 

Maybe he wants an ITR instead and is saying that he used to own a GSR?

I'd advise against it, the ITR is not a collector car, and most likely will not be (at least for another 20 years).

 

^^^on the rate they are dissapearing or getting totaled it might be less then 20 years!

 

From what I got from his post is that he is going to buy his old 94 GSR back and make it into an R replica.

 

lol......i didnt know my post was going to create such a confusion. what im saying is that......my very first car was a 94 gsr...i sold that after heavily modding it. now im looking to buy a integra again but this time im looking to going with a type r and doing it as i always wanted and keeping it clean.....

 

 

The Integra Type R IS a collector's car. I'm a collector. I should know.

 

If you want to keep an ITR a collectable, then buy one that is stock (or close to it) and then make it 100% stock.

A modded ITR is worth less than a stock one.

 

how old is your son?

mine is 2, and I would love to keep it for him until he is able to drive, but another 14 years....IDK

 

my son is only a year and something.....i was going to buy this rhd type r here but he for 10+ i feel it wasn't that clean....so i might just find a cheaper type r and build slowing keeping it clean....we'll see

Any car can be a 'collector car', the ITR definitely is.
