injector help for a singal cam boost
I was looking at going with a small turbo using 255 injectors do i need low impedance or high impedence to not run a reSester box? And does anyone know what size prelude injectors r and will they work? And is there any good brands for this build for nor that much cost ?
lol, execpt for d16y7, stock d-series injectors are 240cc.
you use a reSester box when you use low impedence injectors.
figure out how much hp you want to determine injector size.

Don't worry about running a resistor box, it's super easy to wire up. You have two wires going to the injectors and one goes to the ECU, and one goes to a dead end plug that goes to ground. You can either cut and solder the resistor box in with the 4 red wires going to the yellow injector wires (get a multitester), and the black resistor box wire connected to the other end of the wires that go to the dead end plug. Or, I made a plug and play resistor box. On OBD1, the dead end plug is shaped just like a distributor plug, so I took one of those from a dead distributor, cut and soldered the leads up to the resistor box so I can swap back and forth if I have to or want to.
Prelude injectors vary in their size depending on year and the motor (h22 or h23). They're not very big, so finding some RC or Precision or some other injectors would be a good idea. But, they can work if you can get them cheap. You just need to trim the little bump inside the plug. Between the two prongs there's a little 1/8" thick bump that will keep your injector clip from going on. Just shave it off with a utility knife. Same with Precison injectors, no need to buy new clips and cut your harness up.
