EJ6 4-door Question - rear tow hook (aftermarket) question
I have a 2000 EJ6 and want to put a rear tow hook (aftermarket) on it but i have found that the factory tow ring sits farther back on the 4-door than it does on the coupe. Just wanted to know if any of you guys that own 4-doors have tried to put a aftermarket tow hook on your car and if so what did you do to get it on there. Thanks for reading.
I tryed but i would have to cut a section of my bumper to fit. The hooks im using are the Blackworks universal hooks. but all the other rear hooks are the same length so i dont really get whats going on.
If it doesn't fit how it's supposed to then just don't put it on... Or make sure you have a back tow hook and your not trying to put the front one on the rear...
All im asking is if any of you have run into this problem not to not buy the part because its been bought and it will go on the car. Its the right hook due to the bag it came out of said rear hook. SO all i want to know is if any of you guys have had this problem and if not i would like to see some pics of the hook installed. I dont need anymore comentarys on your doing it wrong or i dont know what im doing, i have been in the game for a long time but this is my first 4 door.

Doesn't say how he did it but here you go.
http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showt...php?t=193421So my guess is you're doing it wrong.
I know it's an EG but how different can it be?
BTW I found this in less than 2 minutes. YOu could probably find an EK in a little more time if you wanted to.
