His response was as useful as your question. What diffuser? What do you know about fabrication? Can you actually do it? That is a question you have to answer yourself. Also leave the attitude at the door when you come in here. It will help you in the future.

The point is, the diffuser is just a piece of plastic or fiberglass; how you affix it to your chassis is up to you. There isn't exactly a right or wrong way to make it work (in a fabricator's rhetorical sense) just make sure that it can still function as originally intended.

Exactly what these guys said. Its like you just asked if you could turn a metal bowl into a strainer. Sure. Its possible. Can YOU do it? If you're asking, it means you're second guessing yourself and the project may be over your head to begin with. It would take having the piece in your hands and seeing if things fit correctly on the chassis, and how much modification it would take to get it mounted.

Fabricate means that you actually build it from raw materials. Taking a pre-made part and modifying it to fit something else is hardly fabrication.

As far as making whatever difuser you have in mind fit...if you have to ask. No.
