Default trouble on integra visors, to cut or not to cut?

So I took a try at putting on my window visors yesterday and thought I had it, but the window trim where the 2 middle clips is still kinda bulging out. I think the japanese instructions say I need to cut somewhere in the molding, but dont know which molding to cut. Is it the one I pull down to insert the clips or the one on top? or is ther a way to do it without cutting?

The only part that needs to be cut is the bracket that is placed on the side that you line up with the card board piece that comes with the visors( bracket A in the thread above). You don't have to cut anything to fit any of the top brackets

yes to get the best fitment, you need to cut more than what that article shows. i followed the article as well, but for 100% fitment you need to cut out notches for each bracket. The image of the japanese instructions even shows a notch cut out. Not sure why the person who wrote the article didn't do that.

I did everything legit on mine, cut the notches in the rubber and even drilled the hole for the forward-most bracket.

I think it's the topmost rubber that needs to be cut. if all this is done and the rubber is still bulging somewhere, it's a matter of properly fitting the rubber (top and bottom) into each other and properly into the door frame.

IIRC, it's the part of the upper rubber that is hard to see unless you pull it out. I think it's the part of the rubber in the pic below, right where the screwdriver tip is touching in the below pic (rubber above the screwdriver).
