I searched and found conflicting information so any help would be appreciated.

I got this short block from a guy who said it came out of an EX coupe, but does not know what year. Assuming he's correct about the EX coupe, that would be 93-95.

Sorry for the crappy pix. The block says D16Z6, but to the left of the oil filter and oil pressure switch, there is a tap and it looks factory.

This was a stripped down block so I don't know if he had an actual thermoswitch or just a tap.

I found some people saying that the Civic never had this tap, and instead only has an untapped boss.

I looked in the Honda parts database and it shows a part number for a plug for 93-94 EX, but nothing for a 95 EX.

I'm just looking to figure out what block I have. Thank you for any help.
