type R tranny swap or LSD for GSR tranny
I have a 99 GSR with a greddy turbo kit on it and my clutch is pretty much gone. I was looking at installing a LSD but they are pretty expensive. Would I be better off tryin to get ahold of a type-R tranny?? the torque steer is gettin to me!!
if you can get a Type R, but if you could afford the Quaiffe <--spelling, I would get that LSD its got a lifetime warrenty on it, but if you can't just search around for a Type R
Edit: Quaiffe's go for about 1000-1500 if i am not mistaken

I, to this day, do not understand why people think that shorter gearing is bad for a turbo teg. If you're after acceleration, shorter ratios are always better

i always see it on GB for like 895 or something .. i believe might even be less than that.
LSD, expensive..... how much do you think a new tranny cost (especially a typeR one) Besides even if you do get a new tranny you'll need still need a LSD to help with the torque steer.
*Agree with everyone else, Buy a Quaife LSD*
*life-time warranty even under racing conditions*

I'd stay away from the shorter gearing if I were you.
