Asking us to compare two of the worse coilover brands, nice.
What I'd recommend in the same price range are koni yellow with ground controls on 450f/380r spring rates.

All these threads in this suspension forum with amazing suspension combo's and product reviews. I can think of three posts I see constantly...yet everyone always wants to know about FF, Ksport, and Skunk.
Someone please explain...

The anodizing on ground controls looks pretty too though, if that factors into the decision making process.
Cheapskates with no budget and easily distracted by shiny colorful objects?

It's marketing, people are attracted to bright colors.
Paint your car a bright color and people WILL stare at it.
Same reason if you walk into a Macy's, and look at ties. The red's should always be pointed towards the isles.
Why do you think we're all attracted to Koni/gc? ohhhh pretty colors.

Some of these guys think that higher than normal horsepower applications somehow play some part in suspension. That's my guess.
Hello, I am new here but can give an honest review of KSports for you. I used to have them on my old 99' Si Coupe. I liked them alot actually, it was my daily driver and if I wanted to go on a road trip I could soften the valving for a more smooth ride on say a 6 hour round trip. If I wanted to go have fun in some twistys I stiffened them up and they did well. I had all other suspension upgrades to compliment them so it may have played into that, who knows. For the price I was pleased, then again it was a DD not a racecar that I competed with. I currently have a 92' Hatch and am looking for the best setup for it. Any input is appreciated!
The B series, nope. Not nearly enough weight over the D to have a large affect on anything.
Sure, they're heavier, but not much.
With that said, the H isn't that much heavier either.
The weight is just spread out differenty.
A turbo kit weighs more than the difference in weight in B -> H swaps. Why don't people upgrade their front springs when they add 40lbs of aluminum and steel to their engines?
Thanks, for confirming 98civdx and Libertariat. I wasn't completely sure on the weight difference between a stock D and the higher displacement swaps, but I was fairly confident it was minor, with exception of giant j32s, which is why I said might require slightly higher spring rates. You guys confirmed my suspicions
Bottom line, Skunk2 and K-Sport are both garbage. Its amazing how marketing works. F&F, K-Sport, and Skunk2 seem to be extremely popular setups despite their complete lack of quality. Honestly, $500-$600 range, Progress. $800 range, Koni/GC. $1200 range, AMR. At this point those are the only suspension setups I would want on my car aside from some outrageous Moton setup or what have you. Cool color combinations really do attract people in a hurry. Amazing really.

But the b series is only about 30lb's MORE then a D. But, when you consider that most people remove the PS/AC, which in it self takes care of the weight difference.
Also, just for a little more. When you consider 30-60lb's spread out over the front of the car, it's noithing.
