Hey guys, so I ordered progress CS-II 350f/250r coilovers for my LS the other night and was wondering which rear sway bar should be paired up with this setup because I am not sure which kit has the best to offer.
I've looked into Progress's 22mm, ASR's 24mm, and Beak's 22mm rear sway bars. It would be great to hear input from anyone that had experience with either of these products.
I think i'm mostly aiming for either the Progress or Beak's since 24mm from ASR seems like overkill for me, especially with the front sway bar being stock.

I had the progress setup a couple of 7 years ago (front and rear) and it was great for driving around town. I had the ASR more recently (with F&F Type 1s) and it was extremly stiff. Great sway bar, especially with the Quaife diff....but it is much firmer than the progress setup.
I run a Suspension Techniques (original, not the newer ST branding) 7/8" rear bar and heim joint end links with CS-II 350/350. Great setup. Progressive oversteer. I do run the Progress trailing arm bushings as well. Highly reccomend.
Honestly, you would probably do fine with a stock ITR rear sway bar. They are either 21mm or 22mm, I can't remember off the top of my head. Getting everything brand new from the dealer isn't all that expensive either. The total is a good bit less than a progress or ASR, which are the only two brands I would ever use outside of a custom setup. I think I have a parts list with part numbers. Let me look.

Save some money and go with the ITR and Beaks RSB. I had the BSQ kit and it worked well for me. Bsq is pretty much the same concept as the Beaks. I spent a total of about $140.

what is the BSQ kit?
i think the total price for a ITR sway bar new with all the hardware was around $140. does it directly bolt onto an LS or do i have to drill some holes to make it fit?

Edit: Just get the Beaks kit. You don't need ASR.

so the SRK-EG/DC - SUBFRAME REINFORCEMENT KIT prevents the subframe from tearing out ...but what if i just bought ITR rear sway bar and harware from the dealer..should i worry about my subframe tearing out ?

Hmmmm just happened to think, while we're on the subject, how safe would it be to run a stock Itr rear bar on a non-itr integra with the BSQ/beaks kit? Obviously the ASR subframe kit is the way to go, but I really don't want the bling factor that the ASR gives off.

I have heard of one case of a subframe tearing out with BSQ-style reinforcement, but that was on a car with track spring rates being driven on the track. If you want to save money, don't want bling, or aren't concerned with the minor reinforcement that an ASR bar provides, a Beaks reinforcement kit is perfectly fine.
Ok, thanks for the info guys. I had planned on putting an ITR rear sway bar on my gsr this winter. I've been going back and forth about using the asr brace. I definitly didn't want it because of the bling factor, but I was kind of worried about subframe tear-out. Glad to hear I'll be ok with the beaks kit.
Side note: I wouldn't be caught dead with a beaks rear tie bar. Nothing but bling.

Yes. I had the BSQ on my RS for over a year and it was fine for DD with OTS GC/Koni. People without experience please keep it out/quiet. I will soon run the BEAKS reinforcement kit on my EG/EH.
