b16 S1 cable trans in ef ! need help

Default b16 S1 cable trans in ef ! need help

all gears work fine accpet 5th !
pop into gear , let the clutch out and nothing , no pops , grinds, shake , or shatter ! no nothing !! feels like im in neutral ..
what might this be ?
in proper length on shift linkage ? 5th gear needs to be replaced ? help ?

im gonna go with a bad trans. if all else gears works fine then i dont see why the linkage should have a problem changing into 5th. Is it a home-made linkage?

like stated above proper linkages??? again it could be a bad tranny components, double check the tranny, my suggest is pull the tranny out and open the case, and manually put it gear to see if it will get in gear. what i normally did was used a screw driver and insert in where the linkages went and started shifting gears to see what was the issue.

theyre homemade linkages .. not my doing , got it that way .
i might end up getting a cable ls trans and juss swapping it .
