MD 1992 Civic CX No 56k
1200 Takes it
Well I finally broke down and bought a new car so I am going to be selling off my stock of other vehicles.
This a a 1992 Honda Civic CX with roughly 250k on the odometer which is very close to the actual mileage.
Best offer will take it, I already have offers here at home but not to people who would put this car to some good use.
Engine:
OBD-I ZC SOHC VTEC stock
~65-70k on the motor
Swapped 2 years ago with about 50k
Had a CEL for coolant sensor, replaced last week
Never had forced induction
K&N filter attached to intake manifold, yes I'm cheap
P28 ECU
EX/Si trans, makes a sound at 3k but does not affect driving
Exhaust was a cheap OBX? twin-loop just welded to the axle-back
Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:
Stock shocks with lowering springs (Koni/GC sold separately)
Front brakes have been replaced with Integra, new pads and calipers as of 2 months ago
Rear drums are awful, would not recommend driving like this
I have full rear disc conversion without calipers, see section below
Wheels are 15" Konig bronze TE-37 type knock-offs
Tires will probably need to be replaced soon
Skunk2 LCAs because the bolts were siezed on the old ones and I cut them out
Rear disc conversion (Integra):
The only thing not included is new calipers and I have a 40/40 prop valve
I have the following new parts,
15/16" Master cylinder
Hawk brake pads
Brembo blank rotors
Red-covered Techna-Fit SS flex lines
Rear trailing arm bushings
Civic Si e-brake cables
I also have the old rusted calipers you could use as cores for new unloaded ones
Interior:
Rear seat delete, not in great condition but could be with a little effort
The front seats show as Integra but I have someone that wants them for their EG Si seats
Carpet should be replaced, was cut to fit Integra dash conversion but I put in black Civic dash
I have cleaned/painted/cured all the center console pieces and have a type-r shift boot
I had to put in the indiglo gaugues to tell when my lights were on due to a bad headlight switch which has since been replaced
The headliner was replaced with a friends, isn't in the best condition but much better than before
Rear speakers/brackets installed 2 months ago
Power windows, locks and mirror conversion
No door trim/switch for passenger side
Exterior:
Almost all clear coat is non-existent
Some sort of dent-ish thing along the passenger side, someone tried to fix before I got it but never ended up following through and surface rust is starting to show
Same with roof on driver side near the windshield corner
Rear bumper was replaced but never professionally painted
Hood looks like it had a strut hit it at one time
Typical rust along rear wheel wells, started showing up last year
I'd really not like to part this car out, I can but it is starting to get cold. Also if someone wants this completed they could buy the calipers and I will install the rear disc conversion no extra charge but I will not be low-balled in that case. Looking to sell by December, I don't drive it and would rather not keep paying insurance but I am also not going to take the first $1000 that is thrown at me. Someone could truly make this car worth driving with little work.
I was planning on doing an H2B swap, so I do have an H22 for sale from HMotors for $500, no manifolds, injectors/rail or harness(might still have the intake manifold in storage).
So without any more talking here are the pictures
