Default Bigger brakes for my CX?

I'm still sorta new to the 5g forum, so I apologize for the *newbie'ish* questions.

I'd like to know which OEM brakes are a good upgrade in size for my '92 CX? I don't need anything particularly special... So just a couple specific questions.

5G EX's came with rear disc brakes right? Are the EX front brakes and rotors bigger than my current CX setup? I really want to upgrade the front brakes without changing the hubs, while the rear brakes any disc setup will do just fine.

I did hear that you can install 94+ Integra brakes on the EH and EG civics, but you'd have to switch out the hubs due to the 5 stud layout - I'm happy with 4 studs.

Thanks for any help!

Only the type r have 5 lugs.

Regular integra and 99-00 si have 4 lug (4x100) like your current setup.
I'm using 99 si front and rear disk brake on my cx. Massive improvement in braking.

For the last time, its not JUST GSR brakes. All 94-01 Integras (-R) are the identical. GSR, LS, GS, all exactly the same caliper and rotor man, no difference.

Why does everyone use the term "GSR Brakes"? There "Integra Brakes" cause the GSR has the same brakes, even tho its got a bigger motor. Actually, if they were used, id get the brakes from a LS simply cause the car weighed less and there would be a lil less wear on em perhaps.

sorry, i should have just said integera brakes. anyway, i had cx with integra brakes, slotted rotors, stainless steel lines, 4040 prop valve.. it was plenty of braking power for that little car.

Hey thanks for all of the replys you guys! This info really helps.

So you're saying if I go with 99-00 Si or 94-00 Teg brakes I won't have to switch out the hubs?

if you get the swap from larry at IAS or steve at HMO, you will get everything you need. spindles in the front and knees in the back. direct swap. day in the driveway.

try getting prelude rotors redrilled to 4 x 100 and using Prelude/ITR calipers and then you will have some massive brakes and stopping power while using your stock hubs

Yeah, but the front swaybar won't fit. It hits the shift linkage and keeps you from shifting. It works fine in the air, but when the suspension gets loaded up with the weight of the car it hits. I helped Built to Spill put his on and it had me stumped to begin with.
