Code 09 (OBDI) ls - CYP Sensor, can I rebuild the dizzy?
I have a CYP sensor (Cylinder position sensor) which is code 09. Ive had this code for almost 2 years and I think its time to FIX IT!
I don't really think this code affects me since it pops up from time to time after 30 mins of driving and only if I am stopped at idle for more than 10 seconds. I have aircare coming up (emissions) and they don't allow any CELS.
Can I rebuild the CYP sensor inside the dizzy? Any parts? Do I need a donor dizzy? Or should I just get a new dizzy all-together.
And if anyone has any tips on code 09, I would appreciate that too!

If you get a donor distributor with the CYP sensor still functioning then yes you can swap it out. Have you tried looking in the H-T marketplace? I bought a used obd2 ls dizzy for $60 a few weeks ago. Try looking there.
Any other tips to rebuilding the dizzy?
